In the mountains, there is a beast called 讙(Huan). It looks like a mountain cat, with one eye and three tails. Its call is so loud that it can drown out other sounds. It can be used to ward off danger, and people can eat it to treat jaundice.

西水行百裏，至於翼望之山，無草木，多金、玉。有獸焉，其狀如貍，一目而三尾，名曰讙，其音如奪百聲，是可以禦兇，服之已癉。
