Shimen was a disciple of Xiaofu. He was able to immolate himself with fire and ascend to immortality. He consumed peach blossoms and served as the Dragon Master for Emperor Xia Kongjia. Kongjia, annoyed that Shimen wouldn’t comply with his wishes, killed him and buried him in the wilderness. One day, amidst wind and rain, he ascended to heaven, and the trees on the mountain burned. Kongjia set up a shrine to pray to him but died before he could return home.

师门者，啸父弟子也。能使火。食桃葩。为孔甲龙师。孔甲不能修其心意，杀而埋之外野。一旦，风雨迎之，山木皆燔。孔甲祠而祷之，未还而死。
