Dugu Shuya(獨孤叔牙), who often ordered his family to draw water from the well, felt that it was very heavy and could not turn the rope. The person who drew the water stirred up the straw hat and hung it on the tree in the courtyard. Whenever it rained, the place where the water dripped from the straw hat would grow yellow mushrooms.

獨孤叔牙，常令家人汲水，重不可轉，數人助出之，乃人也。戴席帽，攀欄大笑，却墜井中。汲者攪得席帽。挂於庭樹，每雨所溜處，輒生黃菌。
